The Ruth Pouch

The Ruth Pouch is named after the original matriarch of our family, Ruth Rees Phillips, who was was truly someone we all aspire to be. A Women's Airforce Service Pilot in WWII (and later for her family when they lived on their ranch in Mexico), Ruth was born in Texas and spent much of her life there. She was as at home on her family's ranch in Mexico--doing everything and anything required of her--as she was donning a gown for the San Antonio Fiesta. We like to think that Ruth would have used this pouch in all roles of her life, filled with extra cords stashed behind her pilot's seat, as a pencil bag on the desk at her home office, or packed in her suitcase with jewelry for a trip up to Texas.
